1 july, kathmandu- Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chair Kamal Thapa left here today for Bhutan to participate in the fifth India-Bhutan Friendship Tennis Tournament to be organised by the Bhutan Tennis Federation in Thimpu. The tournament is scheduled to kick off from Tuesday and the leader will return home on June 6.
Talking to media persons at TIA before flying towards Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan, the former Deputy Prime Minister said he believed that Nepal’s participation in the tournament would help take the country’s image to a new height.
Thapa, who is also the football player, was the winner of the international tennis competition hosted by All India Lawn Tennis Association before this, according to the party source. (RSS)
