Conor McGregor more interested in ‘Conor Vs Nate 3’ than Floyd Mayweather Rematch

Boxing specialists were convinced that classic fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr. — who “carried” UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor in last August in a boxing match — was driving steps in order to set up a possible rematch.

Seemingly because it would replicate this huge cash grasp.

But “Notorious” isn’t as excited about the “Money” do-over as he was with revenging his submission defeat to Nate Diaz, which he somehow leveled with a close decision victory at UFC 202.

“I think it’s different,” Conor’s mentor John Kavanagh told Express Sport. “After the Nate loss, it was an obsession. From five minutes of being inside the Octagon, the ball had already started rolling in ensuring his next fight was going to be against Nate. I don’t see that same level of interest in the Mayweather rematch.”

He still has the same attitude, he had that day.

McGregor is currently in timeout for being a bad boy back home, but is assumed to come back to the UFC at some point in 2018. In his absenteeism, Tony Ferguson will dominate the 155-pound roost with an interim privilege, which could be on the line against the conqueror of this match.

Depending on how “thirsty” this fighter gets.
