19 june, Ranjha- Police have apprehended five persons for possession of opium weighing 18.5 kilos from Puraini of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolis-22. Acting on tip-off, they were arrested at 9:00 am today.
Those arrested are Rajendra Bishwakarma, 25, of Jajarkot; Sharmila Magar, 59, of Rukum East; Bir Bahadur Nepali, 24, of Jajarkot; Prithvi Bahadur Bishwakarma, 50 of Jajarkot; and Ambar Bahadur Darai, 59, of Surkhet.
They will be made public through a press meet this evening, District Police Office, Banke’s Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police, Prakash Sapkota said. (RSS)
