21 june, Solukhumbu- Mayor of Solukhumbu municipality, Namgel Jangbu Sherpa, has provided 10 computers to the Chagesthan Secondary School in the district.
Mayor Sherpa handed over the computers in a bid to equip school education with technology. The computers cost Rs 1 million. Amidst a function organized to hand over the computers, Mayor Sherpa, viewed that every school must be technology friendly and it was not possible without the use of computer.
The Mayor further made commitment that he would continue assistance to the school in the days ahead, according to school Principal Rohit Kumar Karki. Karki hoped that teaching learning activities would be better with computer. (RSS)
