The transfer fee is the highest amount Liverpool have paid for any player till now but will be suppressed the next year as they have agreed to £48 million deal for RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita. The Reds are also willing to buy Monaco’s Thomas Lemar as their top-rated forward Philippe Coutinho has been the main target of Spanish side Barcelona.

Liverpool have already signed 3 players; Mohamed Salah from Roma for £34 million, striker Dominic Solanke from Chelsea on a free transfer and full-back Andrew Robertson from Hull for £8 million.
